Sensible Way to Meet Someone at Heathrow T5

Is there a covid and cost effective way to do this pls ?

Park car somewhere free and reasonably close ?

Wait for their call

Drive and meet them somewhere easy at Heathrow T5

T5 is tough on this - T5 pickup point is place to go but before then you want to take 3rd exit of the T5 roundabout of the M25 and drive down a bit there are some places to stop. (The exit after the entry for T5). But you need to pay for the pickup point I think it’s a few quid.

Although as I’m finding out airports have changed a lot the process etc and I’ve not been since March - picking my mother up week of Xmas at T5 also.
