Hi guys, picked up my road show yesterday. Mostly great but a couple of issues. Main one is the left bottom flipper is really weak and won’t hold at all. The other 2 left and right flippers are fine. So just hoping a rebuild and new coil will sort it. It does look a bit dodgy as you can see in the pictures. Will have to try and put a video up of what the flipper is doing. A couple of other things is firstly the knocker isn’t plugged in, and seems like the plug it’s meant to be plugged in to is used for something else. Also there seems to be an aftermarket small board in between connectors. Any ideas of what it is?
Thanks

This is a picture I found online of what the knocker should look like

That small board is way to mask voltage issues:

it often masks (and kind-of fixes) this issue: https://www.pinwiki.com/wiki/index.php?title=Williams_WPC#Game_resets

the knocker cabling is often wired to a counter device in the bottom of the cabinet. You also need to change the coil output from counter to knocker, and that’s not always obvious or visible in the settings as can depend on your country dip settings on the CPU board! If in doubt set it to USA.

as you say; replace those coils and rebuild the flippers!

also move the batteries well away from the CPU board.

Thanks, yes will do. Will remount them or get a button battery board. I have ordered a full flipper rebuild kit with new coils too. Hope that will fix the issue. Ahh ok that makes sense. There is a counter in the bottom. May turn it back then. Seems weird without the knocker. Will look at them links about the board. I think I have heard of them actually. But only vaguely. Thanks for your help mate. Much appreciated [emoji106]
