Well I've enjoyed playing my POTC but I've decided it isn't a keeper, so I'm putting it up for trade.

It's pretty nice, everything works (including all the dots on the DMD) and although it would benefit from a full strip down clean its not at all bad as I hope the pics show - more are available if required.

I'd prefer to trade against something on my signature wanted list (especially a TAF....) but I'd consider anything really so please PM me with what you've got!

Cheers,
Andy

I'm betting "Most Wanted - Addams, Atlantis, BMX, Eight Ball Deluxe, Embryon, Fireball 2, Jurassic Park, The Getaway, any early '80's Williams"

Yep.....and anything else considered too! :)

Oh well that was an interesting exercise. I have listed all the problems with my Dr who and i think it is fair to say that it isn't in a 'decent' condition.

Anyway i said i was going to give you a description so here it is:
- seriously faded cabinet (all sides)
- broken slingshots (both sides)
- playfield in general ok but some wear at time expander (see photos)
- had battery leakage and hence battery holder replaced with loose one (see photo)
- 1 fault on start up associated with one of the targets on the time expander
- DMD ok
- flippers strong
- could do with some serious cleaning
- no topper (never fitted with one i think)
So not quite pristine condition to say the least. It is funny how you get used to things after a while. I have owned it for the past 10 years and i have never really looked at the cabinet closely but it is more yellow than the original orange. It is the first pinball machine i ever bought (i have only bought 4 in total so i am no expert). It came from eBay.
I think it was used commercially at some point. It still had the coin mechanism fitted.
So there we go.
Don't worry. I won't be upset if you politely decline. But at least it forced me to face reality.
Dom

No deal done with the Dr Who, so the POTC is still available!
