Cosmetically the cabinet and backbox are good with some minor touch ins . Playfield is also excellent with no wear of note around the magnet.
It plays exactly as it should with no faults. I rebuilt the flippers with new plungers, end stops and coil sleeves. Playfield was stripped down cleaned and re-rubbered. I changed a large number of plain white/clear leds for a mixture of stronger coloured ones plus standard bulbs where appropriate. I personally think too many bright white leds can wipe out the colours on plastics and if the leds are too dull you would be forgiven for thinking there is nothing working under the plastics ! Anyway it is an entirely personal thing and i have done this machine to suit me and what i prefer. You can easily change things around if you don`t like it !
Display is 100 % with NO missing dots and NO additional lines.......a bloody miracle for Stern.
Ampsuit figure works perfectly.
All the boring stuff like leg levellers, leg bolts are like new, legs really nice, locks all work fine.
I also fitted a pair of custom insert instruction cards and cabinet side blade artwork. Looks good.
There are a few other odds and ends i have done to ensure the game is as good as i can get it.
Reason for selling is simply that i fancy trying a different game . Avatar i personally find on the difficult side even though i have had my moments on it. For me the better i am at a particular game the more i tend to enjoy it. I know i`d love this game if was better at it !
