hi all,
I'm Adam,
New member in the Bedfordshire area,
Have a bit of previous pinball ownership/ repair knowledge but not owned one for 6 years,
Finally got room again so have brought 2 before the wife fills the space.

Both are projects and need work but hoping to get them both living again

Hope to help where I can

Hi and welcome, as Ian has said, spill the beans on the projects

Welcome, what are the projects?
Got a lethal weapon 3 which doesn't seem to boot, currently waiting on capacitors and bridge rectifier to rebuild the power board as only have 3.2v at the 5v test point. Then I can see what else doesn't work.
Also have a Frankenstein which was working when I purchased it but now the dmd doesn't work, has burnt a couple of the small resistors (I think that's what they are) so looking to do something with that. Was hoping to go down the dmd extender route but can't get a reply from dr pinball, hoping he's just busy and not stopped making them

I could handle that It's the amount of craft supplies that seem to keep creeping in the house thats the problem,

Really hoping so, don't see any other option at the moment regarding the large dmd on Frankenstein as reluctant to spend the £600ish I have been quoted for a new display

Hi Adam welcome to the group
I have a Frankenstein already fitted with a Dr Pinball display fitted if you finally get one I can help out with any fitting problems
although I never fitted this one it came pre installed.
I did enquire with Dr Pinball about one for another machine last year he took 4-6 weeks to reply this is what I got back, hope this helps

I thought you would like to know that DMD Extenders are in stock and ready to dispatch.

It takes the pinball Dot Matrix Display and sends it to a screen or projector.

Great for the following uses...

· Replace your plasma display with a full colour LCD screen

· Add a small screen to the playfield

· Show the DMD output on a large screen or projector - fantastic at competitions or shows.

Look on the website for great videos: http://www.drpinball.co.uk/dmdextender.htm

The cost of one DMD Extender is £60 (GBP) plus delivery (UK-£5, ROW-£12)

Please use PayPal to make the payment to address paypal@drpinball.co.uk.

Please confirm when ordering which machines you will be using with the DMD Extender.

If you wish to replace your existing plasma screen then please read the application notes here first:
http://www.drpinball.co.uk/docs/ApplicationNote1.pdf

I can supply the LCD Install Kit for £10 (GBP).

Hoping that's the case and that I will hear from him soon.
Guess I'll concentrate on the lethal weapon for now.

Massive thank you, I didn't see it come up on Ebay. Have just brought it so hopefully Frankenstein will be up and running by the end of the week.
