Could you not do a momentary short on the batter to clear the Ram?

Cheers for the reply paul.. Ive been reading that many threads i dont know what to do 
few said thats how they do it then others have advised against it as you can get random bits of data after shorting but the card will do a full clear

Have you tried some of the FB groups or fruit forums? Eg Desert island fruits, MPU Mecca.
they may have more experienced people on MPU5

Cheers for the reply im on mpu mecca but seems very quiet for a forum now unless they all use fb now (im not on fb)
yeah, people do seem to be drifting towards FB groups, which pretty rubbish as a discussion forum.
Mecca has always been "tempremental" for me. File links not working (i think from the days they migrated from an old forum)... etc..
