Simply because I am a collector and would rather not own one at all unless it is original. The same can be said for a collector of classic cars, art, coins, stamps etc. For me something that is original, rare or unique is more desirable.
One sold only a couple of weeks ago, they do come up!

Yes I have seen it. Described as a restored machine and the price would reflect a full restore but on close inspection of the photo's many flaws can be seen. Cabinet has had a quick black marker applied to cover all bad areas, playfield looks tired etc, in my opinion not a restored machine.
The seller acts as a broker from Prague with many other machines on ebay so he has probably never seen the machine his self.
