LW3 Question

Hi

I've got an LW3 with non-functioning karate kick & launch coils. I assume I need to solder the loose purple wire back to the connection - can somebody confirm that's the right thing to do please? It'll be my first fix.

Also, I need to replace some fuse holders - can I do this in situ, or should I take the board out (there's a hack by a previous owner soldering some wires direct to the board that makes this tricky).

Hi mate
Yes that wire needs to be resoldered back on to that tab.

Fuse holders on Data east games are a well known weak point. Best to remove the board and put new holders in as they will be through hole components i think so you’ll need the board out to de solder the old ones and solder in the new.
