I've made one for my World Poker Tour. Looks miles better than the stock tube light.

Anybody else made one ?

yep, i made one - check in about ten minutes as i'm just updating my pimped-out LOTR thread.
let's see it then, behind the translite? it looks excellent, no hot or cold spots, evenly lit, warm light that doesn't hurt my eyes.

Here it is before I put it in the machine.

It would appear @cooldan made a very similar eye flasher a few weeks ago.

It really is a doddle to do.

your eye flasher is way cooler than mine, i think i'm gonna hafta upgrade mine to red like yours

i take it you cut a hole out of the white board.

I haven't made an LED board for it yet Dan. The one I made is in my WPT.
I do intend to make one though and yes it will need a hole in it for the flasher.

Finally got around to fixing SM's duff fluorescent bulb... by totally replacing it with a homemade LED panel!

12v 2835 LED at 4000k in neutral white from RS.

On a white A2 5mm thickness foamboard (pack of 20!):

Arcade Upkeep dimming module, so it was semi-plug&play.
