Help please, Stern "home play" setting ?

Hi as a very newbee Ive just acquired my second pinball from hear a t3 , im reading the manual ( ive read shorter novels !)
Im looking to set the game up so its a bit easier for my 11 year old lad (total lie ,im cr*p he is already better) I see in the manual there is a setting called "install home play" but im not quite sure what this is,i have read the manual but still cant get my head round it as im a bit dense,Can anyone throw some light on this for me please.I see there is also settings called extra easy.easyy and so on,

install the extra easy, and adjust the outlanes so they are easier.

I’m almost certain Neil means unscrew the little rebound post above the outlanes and move it down towards the flippers, making the gap slightly smaller. There should be some pre-drilled holes to allow such an adjustment.

EDIT: looks you can only adjust the right side, and may have to remove a plastic to access it.

IMO I would leave as is.You will dial in to your specific game and get better and better at it
