whilst poking around under gorgars playfield earlier I noticed my pop bumper coils are SG 23-900,the manual says they should be SG 23-850,however they look like they are the original ones fitted from the factory,is there much difference in strength from 23-900 to 23-850?,or is the manual just printed wrong?

The -900 and -850 refer to the number of turns the coil wire is wound around the bobbin.

The lower the number the stronger the coil.
The -900 flavour will be 5.6% weaker than the -850 so probably not even noticeable.

You beat me to it !! @Andy B also the 23 is the gauge of the wire .As Andy said more turns of the wire equals less power . Some people use to drop the power of the coils to stop the plastics on the playfield from breaking .

thanks for the replies, guess I'll leave as is then, especially as it's original
