So I tried a pack of bright green Glo Balls (ceramic with metal core). I thought they'd look fun in Monster Bash/Scared Stiff or AFM.
Tried them in MB and there were a few issues (getting stuck, not triggering switches) and I think this is because they're a little lighter than regular pinballs, so I took them out more or less straight away.
I tried them in SS and they flew around, very fast - so much so that to me it effected the gameplay (almost the same difference between powerball and normal ball in Twilight Zone). And I also noticed after just a couple of games that they were getting pretty dirty.
So, I won't bother with then in AFM...
My experience leads me to say that I wouldn't recommend getting them or using them. They are fast, but not without problems.
