I have an original Flintstones pinball machine in my garage. It has been in storage for the last 10 years but prior to that it was fully working. During a house move, the top part of the glass smashed and the piece behind it went missing. I'm looking to sell and just wondered if anyone would be interested in buying it? Or if anyone could give me an idea of what its worth? Any help would be much appreciated.

Difficult putting a price on it without seeing the playfield in detail. Take the glass off and post some more pics. Mind Flinstones is no AFM..lol

I'd guess 1200-1400..
I have absolutely no idea how to take the glass off :/ will have a look though.

Too many questions arise from the lack of details to accurately value it.

Non-working = less value normally.
No translite?
Batteries still in the backbox?
Stored in warm/dry conditions?

Try to avoid selling it to any Bristol-based leisure companies as they'll probably just polish it and add £2k to the price.

No translite? No Idea what this is :)
Batteries still in the backbox?
it was working 10 years ago so i would presume so
Stored in warm/dry conditions? Stored in garage, so dry but probably cold in winter

All I know is i have this Pinball in the garage, its taking up space and I have no idea what its worth. I will try to upload some more photos.

The lost backglass and missing translite is not a disaster as many folk change it anyway as it is seen as a weak point of the game

Were this a good one , fully working, clean, maintenance up to date, no errors, no missing parts ... it might be 1600 ?

You then start making deductions ....

Battery corrosion has killed the mpu board ? (expensive, but new boards are out there)
Replacement translite and glass (vertical art that covers the circuits in the backbox)
New dmd display ?
Playfield wear?
Damage to the cabinet ?
Metal corrosion if stored in the damp (NIGHTMARE)

as above. We need proper info on the condition

Glass off - open the black coin door at the front. Look for a lever. Pull to the left. lift up the lockdown bar (metal piece at the bottom of the glass) slide the glass towards you. Put it down carefully on something soft like a towel - if you bang it down it can shatter.

Hi res pics of the playfield, external art. Circuits, under the playfield

I will try to get more pictures on here. See if I can take the glass off....eeeek

Also take a picture with it switched on if you can, better still a video of it being switched on (viewing the screen at the bottom of the backbox) Will tell a lot and help with pricing

Pictures of the inside of the backbox are also very helpful, backbox is opened by pushing the silver piece on the right-hand side of the white board with all the lamp holes in it, up wards, then the white backboard can be swung out like a door revealing all the electronics behind

will do :)

Batteries look like they are best before 12-04  I can see some corrosion around the batteries so whip them out before they leak any more. The battery area will need to be cleaned to limit the damage to the cpu board.

Uploading pictures of inside the back box now :)

Ive plugged it in and nothing happens, but I can see a small loose wire hanging out the bottom of the back box. It looks like its just pulled out of somewhere. :)
