Rebuilt both flippers on Hurricane. Kept the same coils.
Both had worked for a few games.
After rebuild and some reasonably heavy play, right flipper bulged and stuck. I assumed this might be it was old, hadn't been energised in a long time and was suddenly taking a bit of hammer.
Replaced with a new coil.
Played ok for a few games then F102 blew mid game.
Replaced, played a few more games. It blew.
So rather than keep doing the same thing over and over, I think I better find the fault!
100% the wires are correct. I better go check again.. ha.
Middle lug wire goes to short leaf of the EOS.
If the wires were wrong, the fuse would blow right away?
So something else further up the chain at play, for it to work for a bit and then blow?
Any experience gratefully received.
