Craziness of US Deliveries

I had not ordered anything from the US in years.

I bought a ramp from freeplay on pinside. Ordered 23 Jan, arrived 8 Feb. No further taxes to pay. ie 16 days.

I then bought a mini playfield from Planetary Pinball. Ordered 10 Feb, arrived 19 March. No further tax to pay. ie 37 days.

The tracking on the second item was insane. It was sent to London, then returned to the USA, then sent to the UK a second time ....

Sending out of this country to states or even Europe is a nightmare as well

I just recieved something from the usa and paid no customs fee either,but I have been shafted in the past,it's royal mail and parcel force's handling fee that pi$$ me off more than the customs fee

My record was 99 days for a Pinball Topper. Good old USPS

Had 2 items from USA this year and no tax either. Not even parcelfarce tax. Most odd.

I was just thinking this morning that I have had five parcels in the last few months from the States and not a single one of them ended up with tax to pay on them. UPS, USPS and the other company I have forgotten. I am sure last year everything got whacked for tax and handling charges.
