Afternoon folks I’ve swapped out the old coil for a new coil / different values but I’m not getting an noticeable flipper strength Which was what I was trying to cure . Where did I go wrong ? It’s for blackout system 6

Did you change coil sleeve and linkage too?

Does it need replacing? Any play in it at all?

Those coils run at different voltages doode!.........the old system 6 (blackout) flipper circuit is 28volts or there abouts ... the later parallel wound Williams coils are designed for 50v operation........your blackout coils are series wound.......:)
 
I’ve cleaned the old coils and sleeves and also put them back in the machine playing abit better I just would like a little more flipper power any recommendations?
