TOTAL SOLDERING Novice JACKASS here ...
Please help, I'm pulling my hair out....

I had problems with game restarting and a CN1 burnt plug.
So I've replaced the CN1 SOCKET


*1* First had no slingshots and bumpers

Removed board and fiddled checking things..... and fixed them

*2* BUT then NO SCREEN....

Removed board and fiddled checking things..... and fixed it

*3* But now no play field lights. Static ones are fine than illuminate around play field, back box. Flashers are fine, game plays fine. Just none of the light up stuff works.


Does anything on CN1 relate to this?

FFS Issue *3* now no play field lights. Static ones are fine than illuminate around play field, back box. Flashers are fine, game plays fine. Just none of the light up stuff works.

Any other idiot with similar issue, to issue 3 - check CN4 is actually plugged in!

I have had this board in and out literally easily 10 times past 24 hours, I think fatigue and complacency lead to not having all plugs in.
