Is it safe to use brasso on the played? like actually on the playfield? i thought i saw a post the other day saying to was someones secret for a great deep clean ? did i dream it or is it a good idea?

I use Brasso to clean my playfields, many years ago Bob Thomson told me to use it and I’ve done so ever since.

Of course he could have been joking......

But it's not abrasive, it gets rid of the dirt and as long as you don’t put too much on in the first place (a tin lasts for ages) and polish it out then no residue is left and you’re left with a nice and shiny playfield!
