Looks great. What's the story of the find? Was it advertised or did you come across it somewhere? What sort of prices do project machines like this go for in Australia?

I had been looking for a year for one .
With the job that i had at the time traveled around a lot .
walked it to a dealer and i had been there several times and just in conversation i asked do you have a blackout
he said yes i do .
he gave me a price and i said i would think about it .
so the following week i was in the area again and after a lot of negotiation we worked out a price .
The price for pinballs are crazy he atm most are double the price that they were a few years ago.
i payed $1200 au
a friend of mine owned it years ago and he payed $780 and then traded it .

That's great work with the hair dryer! Fantastic result. What technique did you use to take off the mylar? Heat, cold or just brute force?

This time i used the freeze method with great results .
I have tried all techniques with some success.
eg firepower playfield i just put it in the sun .

Inserts have cupping normal for these games
leveled them with a automotive clear and sanded them flat

touched up the white on the playfield

fitting insert back in
I used Loctite superglue gel it was very unforgiving .
I also cut a piece of perpex so i could see that the insert were level

Wow it just amazes me how, “boards rebuilt” & “playfield clear coated” what a huge amount of work to achieve this so far!
It’s looking great!

I didnt fix the boards they were sent to the person that does this as a business
They were sent the next day after i purchased pin .
Just thought i would post a pic

My xenon boards were rebuilt back in 2014 and i still haven't put this pin back together
some projects just take longer that others lol...

I took this a mate to sort out

Check through all the connections , coils, bridge rectumfriers and sorted some blown fuses.
Replaced a dud coil that was also wired wrong , replaced the Tip102.
2 bumper coils were wired back to front. Hit the sw for one the other would fire and vice versa.
Cleaned and adjusted a few switches plus drop targets.
GI had blown fuses ,replaced all the bulbs and was ok.

Mate sorted it a few hours

machine is running and is sort of completed
maybe will touch up the cab one day
on to the next project Williams Flash that i purchased back in 2016
