So another d!ckhead buyer has landed me in the crap. Agreed to sell this game before Christmas and took a deposit, but it's taken a month to win the Martin lottery. Martin is due to drive all the way up to me in Sunderland to collect on Friday (1st February) but the buyer has decided he doesn't want it any more.

Rather than cancel Martin, I thought it was worth a try to see if anyone here wants to take Dr Dude? I need to know by 5pm Thursday 31st January.

Good points:
  • Nice original decals
  • Stunning playfield with no wear
  • All features working
  • New chrome T-Molding around the head
  • Nice ramp
Bad points:
  • Siderails have a couple of dings
  • Missing big-shot character
  • Couple of broken plastics (slings)

Asking for £1300 + Martin's delivery fee (£90 I think), or you can pay him at your end.

RFM for a no hassle sale would be appreciated. Not an ebay muppet and know Martin so happy to pay you as soon as he says he has it. PM me if you’re still willing to sell it. Happy to buy it for what its worth but not going over previous sold prices on here. Thanks.
 
I do have some other pins available if peeps are interested, 3 of which I'd class as projects and other 2 in good order. RFM is not for sale.

Projects:
  • Gilligan's Island (£1500) - faded decals, players condition, has some LED's and was working perfectly until I removed the batteries for storage. I cannot get past the setup screen as it appears the coin door service buttons are not responding. They had worked previously so I don't know what's changed.
  • Road Show (£1600) - faded decals, very good playfield, all parts present and DMD working but start's up with faults so doesn't play. Needs a bit of work.
  • The Getaway (£1800) - bought as a project but haven't tested it. Playfield looks ok, all parts present. Cabinet is ok but probably should have work done. Will test before sale to confirm price is fair.
Ready to Play:
  • Creature From The Black Lagoon (£3200 firm) - stunning playfield, mods, LED's, working (but blue) hologram, plays beautifully. Cabinet is original screen printed, and although does have some dings I would not recommend new decals due to how original it is.
  • Stargate (£2200) - beautiful playfield with no broken plastics, plays lovely, cabinet in fantastic shape with original artwork. Backbox has LED ring upgrade.
I also have a very rare SEGA Harley Davidson which is damn near perfect. I need to scan the cabinet first but price will be near £3k ish.

I think it is Kev. I've had 3x CFTBL's in the last 3 years, and I actually sold yours to a mate of mine but then bought it back again LOL because the playfield was so much nicer than the other ones. Although the one I sold just in September was very nice as well but it had decals on it, whereas I'm sure yours was the one with artwork printed on the cabinet :)

This thread is ace. It has taken selling pins to a whole new level.

LOL, I don't know if that's sarcasm or not but I did try to keep things easy to read here, cos ya know what pinball buyers are like.... :rolleyes:

Also - "INTEREST PENDING DESCISION" simply means "I'd like to mess you about for a few hours/days/weeks until I can find an excuse NOT to buy your game"
