Anyone used Martin recently?

I know Martin had some personal stuff going on at the start of the year and that was maybe contributing to increased lead times for pickups/deliveries. Has anyone used him recently - I may have an incoming on the horizon, so wondering what his lead time is like at the moment?
 
I have used him a few times over the past couple of months and he has been on top form. Did not have to wait long at all. I spoke with him again yesterday in fact.

Spoke with him this morning and picking up tomorrow.:) He's a bit tied up with Play Blackpool running this weekend but still getting jobs in there.
 
Meant to be coming here next week.

Won the Martin lottery last month. Pick up here on the Monday. Drop off in Brum on Wednesday and Wales on Thursday. :clap: Think that's got to be a record
 
Meant to be picking up my Flintstones on Thursday(?) guess he'll come too you at the same time. All in Martin time though;)
 
So a crate load of porn coming south for Dan, couple of machines going back up north. The mans a frigging machine
 
Took about a week recently, his brother or possibly brother in law did the pickup.
 
Picked up last Friday more collection due. Finding sellers more impatient than buyers even though they tend to live in the middle of nowhere is east Anglia or darkest kent
 
Delivered games to me on 3rd April, but I've been trying to contact him for nearly 2 weeks now on collecting another couple of games. No response, nothing. Quite frankly I'm getting rather annoyed and so is the guy I'm buying from. He's already lost out on another purchase because he couldn't get hold of Martin either.

Yeah he does a good job and is cheap, but I've never known anyone with such terrible communication skills.
 
Has anybody here seen or heard from Martin in the last few days? Took me over 3 weeks to get hold of him, he arranged to pick up 2 pins on Thursday but then didn't bother to turn up. Now I can't get hold of him. Naturally I'm extremely p!ssed off and so is the guy I'm getting the pins from.
 
He was due here last Tuesday. Heard he had van trouble.... not a whisper since. Was going to chase him up tomorrow myself.
 
Have things picked up in Martin Land? I will most likely need a collection next week.
 
Yes I spoke to him on Tuesday and resolved issues. If you want to communicate with Martin effectively the best thing to do is call him. Only use text for sending addresses and phone numbers etc.

I used to think it was bad to call people who were on the road a lot but I think Martin is on the Bluetooth so it's probably easier than him texting back when he stops.
 
Got a text from him last week saying he's got a lot of evening pick ups / drop offs he needs to do. Was hoping to see him this week for a collection but it's all gone quiet again
 
Well anyone who is a friend of his on fb will know he was at the Festival of Speed and then had a trip to Windsor Castle over the weekend... Knowing Martin his work phone will have been switched off for the last few days..! :thumbs: Although I'm sure it'll be switched back on by now.
