Anyone dealt with Pinball Creative?

i dont know any of these guys but there work looks very good yes it is expensive but that level of restoration is going to be it not a normal run of the mill pin my advise would be to give them a ring have a chat with them and then if you really want it go view it

I've looked at their machines and dribbled a bit, dribbled a lot actually - they're lovely restorations, but my thought is: they seem to use www.pinball-dreams.com to supply their stuff, or at least do their playfield restorations. Pinball Dreams might be a better bet. Take a look there first, they're cheaper.

Giacomo is a true pinball lover, and he has an excellent technician in Jake Papas who works on most of the machines to get them working well. Many playfields are restored by Henrik at Pinball Dreams, and I think Pinball Dreams also produces plastics and does backglass restoration for Giacomo when necessary.

Many of Pinball Creative's customers are super-rich individuals who just want a perfect machine, and don't mind paying top whack for one which is superbly restored and have a number to call if the machines develops faults so that it can be fixed.

Bottom line is that his stuff is fantastic, but very expensive. He does have a very full stock room with machines waiting to be restored, so I am guessing it is worth asking him if he has a particular machine you are after and whether he would sell it unrestored for a more affordable price - I don't know.

Giacomo restored a cabinet for me and Henrik restored a playfield for me, and the results were certainly top notch: you can read about it here: http://www.pinballinfo.com/community/threads/cow-poke-em-complete-restoration.38291/

Also, I have written a couple of articles about Pinball Creative for Pavlov Pinball if you are interested:

Hope that helps!

Hi @Mfresh - many thanks for the info and those articles are brilliant. I'm going to have to go visit Giacomo one day - soon! Those machines are amazing - my fear is if I see and play one, I will be parting with some real £££s !!
