Amazon link weirdness

Just made a post here

..which included a bunch of Amazon.co.uk links. But the site seems to be replacing amazon.co.uk links to random other sites, like newegg and unbeatable.com (which are not UK based)

I actually thought I had a virus, but replicated same behaviour on a different PC, and @kevlar kindly checked and said he saw the same thing happening.

It may be because if u look on the Amazon site they actually sell very few things themselves now. It's abit like eBay shops

Just saw the links change before my very eyes on my android tablet here, its something the forum is doing.

No - you are right! Thats just plain strange.... and wrong!! let me see if i can fix it. I have my suspicions....

even stranger is that i just disabled the two potential add-ons i thought might have been causing the issue... and it's not those!

There was some dude in the chat room wearing a hijab. He was furtively hiding something in the infrastructure, plugging in a chip to upload a virus or something. When I confronted him, he muttered something about Admiral Ackbar in a Belgian accent, and ran off.

It's interesting since only certain links are affected (the ones earlier in the thread are fine!), and also if i go to edit your post the links come up as Amazon links....

Seems like an add-on update added this "feature". Feature removed, and many thanks for the heads up
