I think this point of view is absolutely valid, if there had been a policy in place for this infringement when Col posted. But there wasn't, the 6 month duration was just made up after the event.
So whilst I'd agree totally that there's no place for determining a ban duration based on...
I'm not convinced you've reached (even remotely close to ) the right conclusion here.
Has any good ever come from your online communication style - has it improved your sales, made you feel better, improved your mental health, stopped the comments you find offensive from happening, any good...
Maybe I'm losing the plot here, but the only person I can see who actually wrote that comment was Homepin himself, i.e. he seems to have totally imagined that someone else made that comment?!?
Yeah, I agree. I think some of the toys look a bit like they came free with a Happy Meal too. It's a great theme imo though, so maybe the modding community can bring some stuff out to improve its aesthetic a bit.
Nah, they used to respond with some positive comments, like they were defo going to buy it (e.g. asking about how and when they could collect it, how to pay, etc), then don't even bid It's the tire-kicker situation DRD mentioned. And it's been my experience across the board selling on ebay...
Like I said, I've literally never had anyone who asked a question actually buy an item. And in the past I've had people ask question after question, the most bizarre and time-wasting things to check, take photos of, etc, then have them not even bid.
The first rule of ebay is that anyone who asks you a question, definitely will not buy your item. I don't even respond to questions any more. Presumably this guy knows the way it works ;-)
I guess the answer is "Because they can" and that it doesn't really have much if any effect on sales (otherwise they'd stop doing it). And the reason that they can is that they don't really have any serious competition. It's like ebay regularly imposing new junk-fees, Amazon making any product...
@Galego wanted one sheet too.
@Silverpaolo seeing as you are with him in the US, can you ask DeletedMember how he wants to handle this :) Does he want everyone joining his forum and placing their requirements individually there until it reaches 100 sheets, or something else?
Original JB Weld has ground steel in it so, once set, it's incredibly hard wearing. Also it is grey coloured. Other than that, it's very similar to the Aradlite.
They are both great products. Given the option, I'd use JBWeld in this job, but I suspect both will work just fine as long as you...
Well apparently the 'Internet Movie Plane Database' is actually a thing, and this is the page for films featuring a Bell 47 helicopter: https://www.impdb.org/index.php?title=Category:Bell_47
I think the discounts are at distributor rather than manufacturer level?!? In which case, an alternative reason for the discounts could be distributors with excess stock that needs moving on - even if unprofitably.
That epoxy putty is difficult to sand as it sets very hard - it will take longer, you are more likely to damage the surrounding area and the end result will be inferior.
It takes ages to set whereas car body filler is set in 5-15 mins.
The result will not be as good as a 2 part car body filler...
Are you 100% sure on this Alan? I had a different brand of a similar product, but similar in that you use your fingers to rub it together - I found it very different to two part car body filler. The consistency was different, it was different to mould to shapes, different sanding and the final...
