Yeah I noticed the price had been changed on the Bowling Queen, don't like that! Looking forward to picking up Pyramid, I'll stick up a shop log thread when I do
I was watching both of those Bank-A-Ball's and agree that the non-worker is strong money but the other one isn't too fair off IMHO, if you could get it for a grand I think you'd be good. Outside of the iconic games there are plenty of EM's that are worth north of £1k, take that Hit The Desk on...
All back together after it's clean up and the Geeteoh board is in along with some new speakers thanks to @new forest pinball  I think the custom sound package it comes with can be improved upon so I've downloaded music, films quotes and sounds and am having a play about in Audacity...
@Biff just to confirm mate, it's got a new CPU board from Jim @myPinballs in it, not a Pascal board  There some videos on my Youtube channel from when I did this up, feel free to link them in your For Sale post:
This arrived today so I know what I'll be playing later :D From a seller on eBay who makes cart mod versions of games for the Master System that were either unreleased or only came out in Japan for the Mk 3 etc. In this case the Game Gear version of Shinobi which has awesome music by Yuzo...
Got a Geeteoh board coming for my 2nd favourite game of all time so thought I should also give it a mini shop out. I haven't really done anything to this since I restored it many years ago. It'll need a clean plus new clear rubbers and I'm going to swap out the GI for LED's and see how it looks...
Done a first lot of touch ups on the black keylines round the inserts and the first lot of clear is on to start levelling them out. Had a few issues with paint bleed so had to wipe a few off and will tackle that tomorrow.
It should be the same flipper as the bottom two, the ribbed one  You're supposed to be able to trap up on the upper flipper to shoot the bowl ramp.
Gone as far as I can with the magic eraser cleaning so it's time to break out the paints :thumbs:I also need to level the inserts so got some clear and pipettes ordered.
@Boonitch if you're looking to do a re-theme then I'd suggest going for a Bally, Williams or Gottlieb game  I used to own a Sonic Star Wars and they use all their own proprietary board set and lots of other parts which are unobtanium these days. They also use a plastic playfield (like a...
I think the time this game spent in the swamp being unplayed might have done the playfield a big favour (the metal work not so much) I did a light first pass with the magic eraser and it's already looking loads better :D These first two pics show a before and after of one of the light...
Finished stripping the playfield and it looks promising although I did find quite a lot of remnants from a previous playfield glass
Gave it a quick hoover and then took a couple of pics so I can keep track of how much this can be cleaned up and improved. The first pic below is just...
Bit of a general update on this thread and a change of plan :D After making it to Pinfest last year and then smoking out the main room on the Saturday when a pop bumper coil locked on, this has been tombstoned at my Dads ever since. The opportunity to pick up a nice Spin Out backglass has...
You're correct @andy the EBD and FB2 came from me  @Ross Hamilton your old Fathom (and before that was @Sven Normansson) is still here with me mate :D
