You need to take it off the board (as in de-solder) to see if it's leaked. May as well replace it for peace of mind if nothing else, who knows it may even fix your problem...
Basically you want the last 5 dip switches set to on (numbers 28-32).
If it doesn't work then try reflowing the dip switch and test the tracks for continuity.
Funny enough the chaser light board was also missing out of the DE Star Trek at pinfest, that machine now resides in Skillshot and the ST:TNG still lives at SWL.
If the chaser light board is missing, it means that the chaser lights will need repair or replacement as well.

I think it's highly unlikely to be a code issue, given that it used to work on this code. Sounds like a cable issue or incorrect node board configuration.

Have you swapped 8 and 9 node boards over yet, Tony? Remember to alter the dip switches on both of the node boards. This will determine if its the node board or a cable issue. Happy for you to try my spare node board if you wish to pop down and collect it.
